'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson writing music

Back-to-back filming (from The Twilight Saga: New Moon to Remember Me to The Twilight Saga: Eclipse all in a matter of a few months) has not stopped Robert Pattinson from getting his composition on, it seems.
An interview with USA Weekend has revealed that Pattinson is still interested in continuing his passion for music and is presently still writing songs.
As for his own personal obsessions, currently music is at the top of his list. Pattinson had one of his songs appear on the "Twilight" soundtrack, and during his downtime, he's been writing a bunch of tunes he hopes to record - possibly during a month off when he returns to his home in London.
Recently, an
interview that Pattinson had with Joy Magazine sparked speculation that Pattinson was interested in writing music for a film (for which film, people didn't exactly know, but tended to guess Eclipse).
According to the
USA Weekend interview, however, Pattinson's music-based fans might have something to look forward to one way or the other.

New 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' still frame, can you caption it?

The new Twilight (and The Twilight Saga: New Moon, of course) Official Twitter page has been off to a good start.
Earlier, followers got a look into the production process of the film (which is, despite The Twilight Saga: Eclipse's filming, ongoing) with Chris Weitz's tweets.
Now, a "Twitter exclusive" picture from The Twilight Saga: New Moon has just been issued by the page, and it looks very interesting, indeed.
The photograph shows Kristen Stewart (as Bella) speaking with Taylor Lautner (as Jacob), while Robert Pattinson (as Edward) looks on. Naturally, Pattinson's face gives his character's feelings about his girlfriend's conversation (or, more broadly, relationship in general) with Jacob pretty plain, but what's he thinking exactly? For that matter, what are Bella and Jacob talking about? You tell us. Comment below with your thoughts!

Still No Twilight Green Light for Breaking Dawn

With the Twilight Saga buzz surrounding the release of New Moon at an all time Twilight high, with the Twilight Saga Eclipse currently filming in Vancouver, fans have been looking ahead to Breaking Dawn, the fourth movie in the cinematic Twilight Saga. Although Breaking Dawn seems like a sure bet after New Moon and Eclipse, word comes that the Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn hasn't been given the Twilight green light.
Although the fourth Twilight Saga film, Breaking Dawn, hasn't officially received the green light to complete the Twilight Saga quad after New Moon and Eclipse, Twilight news hounds at
Gossip Cop reveal there's no official Twilight word on Breaking Dawn from Summit Entertainment.
Contrary to earlier Twilight reports about Breaking Dawn and that Summit gave the green light to Breaking Dawn for September 2010, a Summit Entertainment representative revealed, "The film has not been greenlit - and thus no decisions about the film’s shooting location, start date, the director, etc... have been made."

Summit Entertainment Creates Twitter Account, Chris Weitz Tweets New Moon Info and Official Running Time!

Summit Entertainment created a twitter account as of today. Right now only New Moon director Chris Weitz has been tweeting. He stated that this is the official New Moon twitter account, however it is listed under Summit Entertainment.
Chris shared an awesome pic of himself at the sound mixing stage. As you can see there is a huge screen with a picture of Bella Swan. It appears to be the scene in New Moon when she returns to the meadow (trying to ’see’ the visions of Edward again) and she is closing her eyes trying to remember being there with him (in Twilight).
Here are some of the other tweets that Chris has shared with us so far today. Including updated information on New Moon’s running time -

Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Won’t be Making Five Twilight Films

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart won’t be starring in the fifth Twilight film — because a fifth Twilight film isn’t being made!
Boo Boo Stewart – who stars in Eclipse, the third film in the vampire franchise — claimed there would be five flicks in the Twilight saga altogether — two more than previously confirmed by Summit Entertainment, which produces the series.
“I heard there’s going to be three more movies,” Stewart told Access Hollywood. “Eclipse, Breaking Dawn and there should be one more.”
But a rep for Summit Entertainment has spoken out to set the record straight, insisting Stewart’s statements are a little premature.
“We appreciate our young actor’s enthusiasm for the franchise and his role, but his comments about the number of films were unfortunately uninformed and not accurate,” said the rep. “However, the fans should rest assured the we’re working with Stephenie Meyer to bring Breaking Dawn to the big screen.”

Kristen Stewart to Leave Robert Pattinson at Home For New Moon Screening

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are reportedly set to attend a special benefit screening of Twilight sequel New Moon.
The screening — which is to benefit a charitable cause, and not an actual premiere — will take place in Knoxville, TN, on November 17 — three days before New Moon hits movie theaters.
Despite rumors to the contrary, Robert Pattinson won’t be in attendance at the screening, which is being held at Regal Cinemas Pinnacle Stadium 18.
A limited number of seats will be made available by drawing to the public. Each winner will have the opportunity to purchase two tickets for $100 each.
The world premiere of New Moon
takes place on Monday, November 16th at the Village Theatre and Bruin Theatre in Los Angeles. Lautner, Stewart, Pattinson and a whole host of other Twilight stars will be in attendance.
New Moon hits US movie theaters on November 20.
Eclipse — the third film in the Twilight movie franchise — is currently being filmed in Vancouver, Canada.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Still Waiting For Breaking Dawn to be Greenlit

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are still waiting patiently to hear if they’ll be starring in the fourth Twilight movie — because Breaking Dawn is yet to be greenlit.
Despite speculation about when production of Breaking Dawn will begin; who will be cast; and when the film will be released, author Stephenie Meyer still hasn’t given producers the go ahead to make the fourth Twilight book into a film.
“The film has not been greenlit — and thus no decisions about the film’s shooting location, start date, the director, etc… have been made,”
said a spokesman for Summit Entertainment.
Twilight sequel New Moon is due to hit theaters this November.
Eclipse — the sequel to New Moon, which is currently being filmed in Vancouver, Canada — will hit theaters June 2010.
In September, Pattinson
hinted at the possibility of a fourth Twilight flick.
“If everything goes as scheduled, in January I’ll be filming Bel Ami in Paris for 3 months, after which I’ll start filming the fourth and last Twilight movie Breaking Dawn,” the hunky British star told a French magazine.
“I’m pretty much booked for the next two years. I’ve got one week at the end of the summer to see my friend, whom in the end, I’ll forget even exists. It’s Crazy!”
Lautner, 17,
recently gave his opinion on the possibility of a Breaking Dawn movie.
“I’m sure it would be different,” he said. “It was definitely a surprise for me when I read the book.
“But we’re just trying to take it one movie at a time, and nothing’s been confirmed yet on the fourth, so we’re just staying focused on Eclipse at the moment.”

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Not Attending Scream Awards

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart WON’T be attending Spike TV’s Scream 2009 awards — despite reports to the contrary.
It was claimed last week that the pair were slated to attend the ceremony, which airs on October 27.
But the couple won’t be hitting the red carpet for the show, it was
confirmed Monday.
However, Twilight fans needn’t be too disappointed: Taylor Lautner IS scheduled to attend and there will be a world premiere of new footage from New Moon.
Other stars scheduled to attend include Anna Paquin, Megan Fox, Tobey Maguire, Liv Tyler, Elijah Wood, J.J. Abrams, Quentin Tarantino and Eli Roth.
Meanwhile, it
has been claimed that Rob and Kristen — who are currently busy shooting Eclipse in Canada — are dreading their upcoming promotional duties for New Moon.
“Rob and Kristen love the acting, but they hate everything else — the publicity and hype — that goes with the Twilight franchise,” a source told a tabloid.
“They’re dreading giving interviews because they know people will try and ask them about their relationship.”
New Moon hits theaters on November 20.
Insiders recently
insisted there is “no truth” to rumors Rob and Kristen are heading Down Under for a tour of Australia.
